Chairman of London Homeopathic Group for postgraduate teaching events at Faculty of Homeopathy

Dr. Susanne Dreher-Brogan studied homeopathy in Germany at her medical school after experiencing impressive cures from homeopathic treatment as a child and in her teens.

During her medical studies she attended several courses on homeopathic theory and practice  and also took additional classes in  Traditional Chinese medicine and participated in a Balint Group.

After qualifying in medicine and moving to the UK she qualified in 1995 as a General Practitioner in the NHS  and became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP ).

With a  scholarship from The Blackie Foundation Trust she continued her homeopathic studies at courses from The Faculty of Homeopathy in the Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital, becoming a member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in 1997 (MFHom ) .

In 1995 she met  Dr. Anita E. Davies, who treated many notable people, including The Queen and The Queen Mother. Dr. Davies became her mentor, homeopathic teacher, colleague and close friend  until Dr. Davies’ death in 2018.

Besides seeing homeopathic patients in NHS homeopathic clinics and her NHS GP work, she started seeing private homeopathic patients and was invited by Dr. Davies to see private patient’s in Dr. Davies’ consultation rooms in Upper Wimpole Street.

Dr. Dreher-Brogan counts herself as very fortunate to have learned the art of constitutional and miasmatic homeopathic prescribing from this true champion of homeopathy who also introduced her to homeopathic teaching.

In 1997 Dr. Dreher-Brogan founded a homeopathic postgraduate continuing professional development study group for her homeopathic peers in Upper Wimpole Street.

Dr. Dreher-Brogan was the group’s first chairman and regularly taught homeopathic subjects  and invited other speakers from the UK and abroad. The meetings are accredited by the Faculty of Homeopathy and count towards appraisal and re validation for homeopathic doctors registered with the General Medical Council.

At present she is chairman of the London Homeopathic Group of members of the Faculty of Homeopathy (FoH) and is the elected  representative for the Greater London area on the Members Committee of The FoH .

She has been a speaker on homeopathic teaching events in UK, Germany, Southern Ireland and has also taught homeopathic subjects to medical students at Queen’s University in Belfast.

Dr. Dreher-Brogan is a classical homeopath and uses all homeopathic dilutions and case analysis approaches. She has a holistic approach to her consultations and will recommend different treatment modalities as necessary and indicated in the healing journey of a person. She also will address lifestyle issues if they present an obstacle to cure.

Dr. Dreher-Brogan is a Member of the Faculty of Homeopathy, a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and holds a full licence to practice medicine with the General Medical Council of the UK.
