Rolfing is a method of aligning posture by systematically treating the myofascial system over a course sessions called the Rolfing Series. Each session deals with a specific goal of releasing tension, freeing connective tissue adhesions and differentiating and rebalancing important muscle groups in specific areas. For example Session 1 works on the feet, Session 6 on the back of the body, Session 7 on the neck. The overall effect is to improve posture, reduce physical discomfort and create greater ease of movement.
